Welcome to Vinton Elementary! I hope everyone has had a safe and enjoyable summer and is ready for the start of a new school year! I have been given a wonderful opportunity to continue my work with children and am honored to serve as the new Principal of Vinton Elementary! I am looking forward to meeting and working with the students and staff of Vinton Elementary as well as becoming acquainted with stakeholders in the Vinton community during the 2010-2011 school year. 

As we embark upon this journey that we call a new school year, it’s time to look at where we’ve been, how we’ve got to where we are and prepare ourselves for new challenges, new beginnings, and new successes! The staff at Vinton Elementary has been busy preparing differentiated learning activities to engage students in this year. Reading and Math Academy, Read 180, LEADS after school program, assemblies, and family event nights are all on the agenda to enhance student education this school year. I hope to see students actively engage in these activities and I welcome parents and community members to participate in these learning opportunities with us!
