Welcome to Vinton Elementary! It’s hard to believe that it’s the beginning of a new school year! What an exciting time this is; a time for new beginnings, friendships, challenges, and an abundance of things to LEARN! Vinton Elementary achieved the rating of EFFECTIVE in 2010-2011. We are pleased with the efforts made by our students and staff throughout the year and on the Ohio Achievement Assessments. We recognize that we have many strengths, as well as many challenges ahead of us in 2011-2012; we are embracing those to work towards even greater outcomes for our students this year. 

Our teachers and classrooms are equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide a 21^st Century education. We have computers in all classrooms, a desktop lab, and two portable labs equipped with laptops for all students to utilize. Teachers also engage students using Mimio technology, Headsprout, Study Island, Read 180, Reading and Math Academy, Renaissance Learning Programs, and additional up to date curriculum in all academic areas. We also have a wonderful support staff that contributes to the successful operation of our school.

We invite you to become a part of the exciting things happening at Vinton Elementary. Come partner with us to educate our children by volunteering in classrooms, joining our PTO, and attending special events at our school.
