Quick reminder to parents and guardians who have a student or students in the TIGERS afterschool program at Vinton Elementary. There will NOT be afterschool this evening 10/21 due to a staff training. We will be back in session Thursday 10/22. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Due to the safety protocols and recommendations put into place, our principals and district personnel have recently discussed options for the students for Halloween. We will not be having parties, but we will plan for the students to have a day to enjoy the season.
*Students are permitted to wear their Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 30th.
*Students are not allowed to have weapon look-a-like items such as guns, sword, and knives.
*Inflatable costumes are not permitted as they cannot be worn on the bus and they are not feasible in the classroom setting.
*No face painting because of masking.
Our PTO will be providing an individually wrapped snack and juice.
